I fell behind a little on writing. Last week we went to Provo as a family. We road our bikes through Provo Canyon on a trail. It was a lot of fun. We rode 5 miles. We passed a waterfall and so on the way back we stopped at it and the girls took off their shoes and played around in it for a little while. Then during the week I only rode once because the weather wasn't very nice. I also had a busy week. I went on a field trip with Meagan's class. We had soccer games and softball games. I am coaching Audrey's team. I have never coached before but I think it is going to be fun. Yesterday I rode my bike from my house to Jamie’s house, she lives near Vernal. It ended up being 32 miles. It was a good ride. After the ride we took the girls to see Narnia-Prince Caspian. It was a good movie, Meagan said it was too much about war, but she was joking.

Mother's Day

Yesterday was a nice ride. I rode 27 miles. I didn't quite make it the whole ride, which would have been about 32 miles, because I ran out of water, next time I will have to take 2 bottles. Today is Mother's Day. Ernie and the girls pampered me . I got breakfast in bed and the girls all came in one at a time with a rose and wished me Happy Mother's Day. They bought me a digital picture Frame. I love pictures so it was very appropriate. I am excited to get pictures on it, it also plays music so I will be looking for some nice music to put on it.

The day I almost gave up riding.

Yesterday I thought I was going to give up bike riding FOREVER. I started out from my house and decided to go a new route. On my way out the ride was going good, too good. I went about 7 miles and decided to turn back. I hadn't noticed that the wind was so strong since it was behind me pushing me. No wonder I was riding 25 miles an hour. When I turned around it felt as though I was riding up a mountain. I could only go 8 miles an hour and if I would try to coast downhill I would come to a complete stop. I had a mouth full of dirt and I couldn't see anything. I called Ernie to see if he could pick me up, no such luck since he was 30 miles away, so I had a little screaming fit got back on my bike and made it home in time to get Nora. Next time I will pay more attention to the wind before I start out.

A busy week

Last week was a busy week, but a fun week. Tanya and the boys came to visit. They are tons of work but so much fun. The girls had their dance recital. They looked absolutely beautiful. They looked like angels dancing. Soccer also started this week. Audrey and Meagan and playing, in the fall all 3 will play. On Saturday I rode my bike 20 miles. I really enjoy riding, I just wish I would be more willing to do it all the time. I know this sounds crazy but it is actually relaxing to be out there all alone. Tanya went back to Seattle today, we will miss her and the boys. Hopefully they will be back in July. I guess that is all for now, Meagan is having a nervous breakdown because she can't find the lid to the cheese puffs.
