Last Friday we went to the haunted corn maize. We first went through the side the was not haunted. Nora had a flashlight to help her feel comfortable. When we got in line for the haunted maize she heard that there were no flashlights allowed in this side so Nora decided not to go. I started out holding onto Ernie, but Audrey and Meagan said that we each had to hold onto one of them so I took Meagan's hand and Ernie took Audrey. There was a spot in the maize that I thought I was going to pass out. They had something in the ground that made it feel like you were sinking. Audrey said "dad we have to stop somethings wrong with mom". After I caught my breath we started going again. Three girls were just standing in the path all huddled up together. They asked if they could go with us. One of their friends left them and they were to scared to go on by themselves. They were hilarious. They would run into each other and fall on the ground. I'm surprised they made it out alive. After we got out Nora said "I wish I would have gone" I told her that dad could buy another ticket and take her in she said "No Thanks". We sat by the fire and had hot chocolate and pumpkin cookies. It was a good night.
Saturday night we went to see High School Musical 3. I think the girls really enjoyed it.

Halloween Party
Ernie and I went to a couples Halloween party. The couple that hosted it did a great job with everything. We had some really good food. We all were to bring a dish and to be creative with the name since it was Halloween. We had blood and guts which was chicken tortilla soup and monkey brains which was chili and there was a kitty litter cake that looked just like a real kitty litter box. They had the whole house decorated and then the whole front yard. We played some fun games. There were some really neat costumes. Ernie and I went as tacky tourists. I told Ernie what I wanted to do and he just ran with it. I think he ended up doing a great job. You've got to love the sandals with socks.
Body Worlds
Ernie and I took the girls to a Body Wolrd exhibit.
What is BODY WORLDS? Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS is a first-of-its-kind exhibit, where visitors learn about anatomy, physiology and health by viewing real human bodies, preserved through Plastination—a groundbreaking method for specimen preservation invented by Dr. von Hagens in 1977. Since its American debut at the Science Center in 2004, von Hagens has developed three BODY WORLDS exhibits for tour to meet the growing demand. The BODY WORLDS 3 & The Story of the Heart features over 200 authentic human specimens including whole body plastinates not seen before in California, organs, translucent body slices, and for the first time—a special presentation on the heart. There were all different poses of bodies. We also saw hearts, lungs, livers, brains. It was really amazing. They had a room with the different stages of a fetus. We ahd hand held devises that would explain each station we went to. THe girls learned that an elephant is pregnant for 2 years. Some people told the girls that it was disgusting to go and that it was perverted since they had all of their body parts. We explained to the girls about what they would see and that we were going to learn more about the human body. I think they ended up really enjoying it.Here is just one of the people that we saw.

My baby is growing up
Nora started school. It was a really hard day for me. Ernie went with me to take her to school. I did good while we were in her class, unlike some other mothers who were balling their eyes out in front of their kids. We walked out to the car and I lost it. Ernie told me I did better than he thought I would. I can;t believe she is in school. I have been going and volunteering every Tuesday. Nora looks forward to my coming to substitute as she calls it. I go with them to art and them help out in the class.
Yellowstone National Park
We went to Yellowstone over Labor Day weekend. It was really fun. The girls had a good time. We were going to stay ina cabin, but as usual my procrastination got the best of me and we ended up camping. When we got the the campground we were told that there had been a visitor(a BEAR) every night that week so we were told to be extra careful with our food and trash. We decided to tell the girls so that none of them would try to sneak food into the tent in their pockets. Nora ended up getting really scared, so before bed we said a prayer so that maybe it would calm them down. It did help out alot. It ended up getting really cold while we were there. The cold wouldn't have been to bad but it rained and our tent leaked so it was hard to keep warm. NOra said later on that Jesus kept us safe from the bear. I thought it was really cute. We met some really nice people while we were camping. It was their first time camping( in a cabin) and they asked Ernie to help them start a fire. They were very friendly to the girls. We had talked about all the animals that we had seen and that I was on the lookout for a bear. I wanted to see a bear so bad. THey ended up seeing one and sent me a picture of it so I could tell people that I saw one.
